This is a very old hotel that is a real pleasure to stay at in every way and the kitchen continues to exceed hopes and expectations for all meals. I have stayed there off and on for almost 50 years.

Solo in Volkach, wonderful Town, excellent hotel
Posted 24 Oct 2019 on HotelsService is excellent, breakfast is superb, buffet is in a bit of cramped and put-of-the way space, but a great variety of options, nobody will leave without being ready for the day. Single room was small, but I didn‘t need much, did not come to sleep much. Even if you didn‘t want to go out, the owners also are vintners, so they have an excellent selection pf wines to enjoy on the walkway outside or in your room.

Lovely family owned property. We were welcomed with a glass of wine from their vineyard and while we relaxed, our bags were taken to our room and our car was parked for us.

Great couples retreat!
Posted 7 Sep 2016 on WotifWe were wonderfully greeted at reception and helped to our room. It was a great place to take a stroll and unwind from the city. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros: very comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Tranquil and warm atmosphere.
Cons: breakfast was difficult to find the food. As we had to leave early we were unable to stick around to find out.

No English language TV stations. Only German
