Aloha Patricia and thank you for taking the time to post your rating. It is unfortunate that we were not made aware of any potential issue that would have caused such a rating. Perhaps they were unaware that Volcano Hale is a budget friendly facility. A reminder to all that Volcano Hale has private rooms and shared bathrooms. There is also a shared kitchen on the second floor.

There is a lot of noise, but it’s the sounds of beautiful birds chirping . The neighborhood felt safe and tranquil.

Place was nice and clean. Since it was dark just need more path lighting. Was kind of far from town but overall a great place to stay.
