"5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....

"We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a bicycle trip in the peloponnese. The location in old town was perfect - a bit busy during the day, but wonderful after about 5:00 p.m. The accomodation was excellent, but be aware that if you are trying to self-cater and use the kitchen facilities, there is no real grocery store in the old town, so you have to walk/drive the 1.5 km back to the new town (which has great facilities). "Excellent apartment with excellent hosts. The apartment is beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Right across from a naturally formed cove with the appearance of a swimming pool. You can jump off the rocks, there's a small sandy beach and metals stairs on many rocks so you can get in the water. It is a little paradise, I highly recommend it."
