Our recent stay was disappointing, though the staff’s kindness was a bright spot. The front desk clerk was very sweet and accommodating, but the overall state of the hotel left much to be desired.
Our first room had a broken air conditioner, making it uncomfortably hot. Maintenance was unable to fix it, so we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room also had issues—there was no water running to the toilet. With the hotel fully booked, we had no choice but to make do until the morning.
What was most concerning was the cleanliness of the first room. Our daughter pointed out what we believed to be bodily fluids on a chair, which was extremely unsettling and suggested a lack of proper cleaning after the previous tenant.
This was especially disappointing as we stayed here last year and had a much better experience. However, the hotel is now undergoing construction on the side where we stayed, and it seems to have negatively impacted its upkeep.
While the staff was friendly and did their best to assist, management urgently needs to address these maintenance and cleanliness issues. A thorough deep cleaning of Room 417 is especially necessary.
The staff’s efforts helped make the situation more manageable, but the state of the rooms was unacceptable, and I hope management takes immediate steps to improve.
