The people at the hotel were very nice. Breakfast was plentiful. It is walking distance to the museums honoring Leonardo Da Vinci.

Pros: Friendly atmosphere
Location: The home town of Leonardo da Vinci. Town has museum and birth home is 3km walk. Great base for day trips in Tuscany and to Umbria/Assisi.
Great location for those wanting to travel/visit in Tuscany.
Beautifully furnished.
Family run business where the staff are willing to please.

Pros: Clean and simple.
Cons: Welcoming reception.
Location: Not particularly well located, but fairly convenient to main part of town. Tried desperately to find the house in which Leonardo born, but failed!
A comfortable, simple hotel in Leonardo's town of birth. Not very exiting position, but quiet and clean. A better than average breakfast buffet and staff referred us to an excellent local restaurant ( Museo).

A day in Vinci
Posted 27 May 2013 on HotelsFriendly hotel in Vinci close to the town. Very helpful staff booked restaurant for us Leonardo's which was fantastic and kindly brought our Kindle to the station in Empoli when we forgot it. Full breakfast available.WI Fi free.
