"It was very safe and the food was lovely. As ever, there were daily power cuts across Cuba but they made sure to loan me a USB torch and make sure I was okay. Vinales was amazing and I went on a fabulous hike with a guide around the valley. "

"This was by far the best place we stayed during our trip! Marilin is so friendly and hard working. She greeted us as soon as we arrived with a big smile and positive energy. The place is so clean and beautifully decorated. I'm pretty sure she's the best cook in the whole country! Stay here and get not only the delicious, fresh breakfast, but get the dinner as well. I wish I had pictures because not only was it incredibly flavorful, but was beautifully presented as well. Another positive note,...

"The best things are the lovely views of the Vinales valley, clean rooms, felt secure (lacking functioning safe in room). Swimming pool deep and cool, open until 6pm. Cocktails at bar average. We didn’t eat there and chose to eat at local paladar restaurants nearby which were excellent within a few hundred metres distance. Breakfast at hotel was good - omelette bar and cold selection fruit, cheese etc. "
