"We booked this for its convenient location on our homeward journey and it turned out to be a really charming place with friendly staff, an amazing view, locals dining at the restaurant and bats flying outside."

"The hotel is acceptable, but the location on the booking site is WRONG. The hotel is much further from the city center than shown. "Great, friendly service by the family hosting the hotel. Fabulous old building, where you could imagine living in a castle. TV didn't work immediately, but in time for the football match. Nice inner yard as well."

"Location and setting is amazing, it truly feels integrated with the park it’s set within, and with that comes this great sense of peacefulness which we loved . Staff are super friendly, breakfast/ restaurant is very acceptable and decent dishes, tea and scones are a must try. But not all is well ..."
