Mid September- basic accommodation which could be made so much nicer. Decor inside apt basic and old fashioned. Equipment for kitchen needs updating not even a kettle and could have had salt and pepper, sugar/oil or anything to make stay better. No microwave or oven just a hob.
Hotel grounds were nice but pool is closed everyday between 13:00 - 15:00 so basically hottest part of day! Sun beds at pool not busy when we were here.
Good and drink extortionate which is not unusual for Sardinia it would seem - but you have staff sitting around doing nothing because no one eats or drinks there I would imagine as so expensive. we were two friends and happy to pay more money for nice food but to be honest menu and prices we were not going to pay. Very quiet at resort no one seemed to be around much so lacked atmosphere. Maybe if prices were not so high more people would eat at restaurant/cafe and there would be more atmosphere. To be honest everyone was probably all in their rooms or out as never saw many people despite 25 of 39 rooms full. Room was cleaned maybe once or twice in one week. Sea view apt had small balcony ( not large as in photos ) so you might need to check that before you come if want that specifically. Town is near with some bars and restaurants but again not overly busy but that could be time of year. Nice view. If looking for peaceful relaxing stay. Beach 5-10 min walk along a paved road, hotel has sun beds which they require €35- €50 for 2 & umbrella

Great location

Misleading
Posted 10 Sep 2018Property description on Expedia is misleading. This is not a hotel: don’t expect basic amenities. Also be prepared to sort and take out your trash. Rooms are not serviced. Room had a terrible smell which after complaining I was told it is cleaning materials. Absurd. Do not book at this property

You are right about the fact that is not a hotel. It is a Residence. So these amenities, like service room is not available. We confirm that the smell can be caused by cleaning materials and it is the reason you have sniffed that at you arrival, but we are sure you have not sniffed in the following days.

Very relaxing stay
Posted 31 Jul 2018 on HotelsWe had a lovely stay at Residence Le Bouganville. The setting is beautiful and the whole place is very relaxing. The kids loved the pool, which was never too crowded. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and Villasimius town is about 15 minutes. We didn't have a car, but definitely needed if you want to explore the local area.

Pretty, friendly residence in a good position

Pros: Flowers, clean, bright apartment, position, pool, good value
Cons: Cooking facilities
Location: Lots of beaches to visit, walking on Capo Carbonara and from Castiades, bicycle rides, snorkelling.
Good restaurants in Villasimius. Try the suckling
1 bed apartment is fine for 2 people, may be a squash for 4. Very clean, light and nicely decorated. A bit noisy from other apartments above and next door. Cooking facilities limited, a kettle, toaster and microwave would help, and a BBQ area.
Good position 5 mins from Simius beach and 10 mins to town on foot.
Helpful staff.

Lovely apartments, good location

Pros: The peaceful location, the pleasant staff and the lovely gardens.
Cons: An electric kettle and toaster would be useful. The mattresses were quite lumpy also.
Location: Lovely beaches, the lagoon with the flamingos on near the harbour, lovely restaurants.
We stayed in September and found the staff very friendly and pleasant, the apartment was clean and the grounds and pool area very well maintained. There were always sunbeds available poolside and the hotel also had a private section of beach with their own sunbeds and umbrellas on which you paid for. The apartments were a 10 minutes walk to the beach and a 15-20 minutes walk to the town which had supermarkets, shops, a good choice of restaurants etc. The apartments were in a very peaceful, quiet location with no road noise.

Misinformed
Posted 2 Sep 2017Rude staff; problem with brexiters.
Horrible bed. Outdated needs refurb.
Lapads of extra hidden costs. I.e. Cot for child.
Requested £200 deposit in cash. On arrival.
No hair dryer in room. Limited toilet role.
Hot water via a heated tank; so you have to rashen.
Only good thing was weather and bedroom view of sea.
Location ok as you nip in to main town.

Great location but the Residence could be better
Posted 1 Sep 2017 on HotelsThe local area is great - clear blue beaches in every direction served by really good beach clubs!
However, for what we paid for our apartment, the best thing going for it was the pool and bar/cafe area! The apartment itself was clean and had air conditioning in each room (a god send!) but no kettle, microwave, a sponge/brush to wash the dishes (but did provide a small pot of dishwashing liquid) nor even matches to light the gas stove and barely enough cups/glasses for the family! Very bare internally and could do with some updating and providing some bare basics to make the stay a little more comfortable especially for what we were paying! At least the pool and other facilities were clean and comfortable!
Note: the reception does not speak English at all so hard to ask for anything more than checking in/out.
