"Property was great, very nice area with access right off the property to a beautiful beach front! Staff was great for the most part, heard a staff member talking to another and called my wife “gorda” thinking none of us spoke Spanish. She however did and they called her a fat woman right in front of us. Overall great stay and staff, just one pretty rude remark was pretty suprising."

"We had to leave a day early. There was construction going on next to us which we were not told about ahead of time. They are building more bungalows. Between the open netting at the ceiling and windows without curtains, it was noisy and we had no privacy. In addition we waited 15 minutes and didn’t get hot water for the shower the last two mornings we were there. The beach was not walking distance as advertised. "the hotel and staff were amazing and if we return, we wouldn't stay anywhere else but el Jardin. Ricardo at the bar was great and the entire staff in the restaurant were always warm and inviting. from the front desk to the concierge, this place is 1st class! Mica (sp) gave a great salsa lession. Kudos!"
