Featured Hostels in Vila Nova de Gaia

The House of Sandeman

3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (205)
"Beautiful place, perfectly situated. The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is great (though the coffee included with breakfast isn't so good). My only suggestion would be to set the room temperature so guests can't tamper with it, one of the occupants cranked it up to sauna levels, which is neither customer nor eco-friendly. Otherwise, it was close to perfect and I'd stay again"

Gaia-Porto Hostel

2.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (67)
"Great hostel, owner is super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Place is just a 10 minute walk to the main area of Gaia and Porto, so its quiet, but also convenient. I got a private room in this hostel, but I'm sure a dorm room would've been fine. Free breakfast every morning and owner offers recommendations or engaging conversations about Portugal and Porto. They did my laundry for 10 euros too, which was great. "
