Overall this wasn’t a terrible experience. It was definitely fun to experience as someone who’s never done pods before however there were many issues. I’ll do the pros first then get into the cons. It was incredibly clean in there, the floors were spotless the bedsheets were clean. Secondly there’s air con in the pod which is nice however can be loud. You can charge all your electronics in the pod and there’s a safe and a locker there. Showers are really warm and come with a towel and hairdryer. Also get free wifi. There is a lidl next door.
Now into the cons: There is no soundproofing. I heard the guy below me on the phone and heard the entire conversation, you can also hear clearly people coming in and out of their pods in the middle of the night and also snoring. Next is that my remote was broken and so were the led lights for the mirror. The maintenance just used some sellotape to stick back on. Next the towels are more like head towels than towels that can fit fully around a human. The walls are extremely thin to the point they move. The instructions on how to get into the building are not clear and i struggled to open the door. (For those wondering you turn the knob to the right and open the door at the same time). The hostel is quite far from the main city and can be a bit of a walk. Getting into the top pod is extremely hard and is very difficult to keep quiet. Lockers don’t fit suitcases.

Great hostel with a comfortable bed. The pods are actually really spacious and feel really safe. The TV didnt work in my pod which was fine.
In walking distance to the UBend so easy acess to anywheres you want to go.

Ok......pod living is vastly different to a room or bed in a dormatory. More private but do need to be a bit of a gymnast to fold yourself into these things!! Great bathroom facilities at this place but no common room area. Area downstairs with bathrooms and toilets are very like a gym changing room. There was a video showing you how to enter the building but another video needs to be done as to how to use the pod features. People helped each other out but all is not clear on arrival.

I liked the capsule style beds. The staff are great. I had a mix up with another property but the staff were able to help me and cared for my safety. If you have no issues you will meet no staff but if you do they are amazing

If you're into just sleeping this is a great place. When I stayed there weren't many people. So no issues with noise. It seemed the two other people just were there for sleeping. Internet was good too. According to my watch I slept better than home. If you need more than a toilet, shower and bed this is not your place. But if this is all you want, then you can't beat it for affordability. I already recommend it to a colleague. I'll be back.

Unique but fine if you know what it’s like before
