Advantageous stay at pension Peck
We really enjoyed our stay in Pension Peck. The host was a very kind and hospitable woman Tatiana. She is from Serbia and speaks English and German perfectly well. She even can speak Russian. So potential guests can hardly be non-understood. Tatiana was so kind that the provided us with a very-very early check-in at 7 a.m. and late check-out 4 p.m. She told us a lot about neighborhood and ways how to get to Vienna center by public transport and also she unveiled to us different tourist life-hacks in Vienna. The room was cozy. It was cleaned every day including change of towels and bed clothes. The only drawback about the room there was no extra bed for my son, so the three of us (my wife, my seven-year-old son and I) had to sleep in a large double bed. The breakfast was hearty and good. On the Jan, 1st we even had lasagna for breakfast. Also Tatiana has a little restaurant "Tanya's Imbiss" where she serves pizza, burgers and pasta on the ground floor so guests can hardly ever starve. I highly recommend staying at Tatiana's place.

Good hotel with lovely helpful staff.
If you want a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of all modes of transport, Pension Peck is perfect. A two star hotel offering five star service. Tanja, Jordan and their team are excellent hosts. Sufficient choice at breakfast to ensure no one goes away hungry. Comfortable, clean beds in spacious rooms.

It is an ok hotel for the price. Close to metro. Mattress not comfortable. Shower small and problem with with water drainage. Was hot nights and no air conditioner. Not enough choices for breakfast.

Budget hotel close to underground station
Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast & dinner is available in the hotel breakfast room/restaurant. This hotel is ideal for students & others on a budget wanting to explore Vienna. The Vienna Pass is a must have. It can be purchased online or bought at the airport or in the centre of Vienna and gives you free entry to many top attractions.

Fantastic location
We stayed here to attend an AC/DC concert at Ernst Happel Stadium and it was the perfect location. An easy 30 minute walk to the stadium and a cheap and quick 10 minute subway ride to Vienna's main tourist sites. The hotel's owner was super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the breakfast was all I needed (juice, coffee, bread, jam, cheese and lunch meat). The only thing whatsoever that wasn't great was the wifi in our room. Had to go into the lobby to get a better signal.

Nice as a bed and breakfast, very cheap.
Next to the international bus station and realy next to metro station conected to the city centre. Very nice and lovely reception staff. Asked about how we want the room, as never has been asked to us before in a hotel, that was impressing me a lot. Very new rooms, nice decoration, nice beds. Excellent breakfast. Very flexible with times and needs. I will definetly recomend it to anyone. Very good quality for very cheap price. The worst thing is the situation, at night is not the most secure area in the city, but on day it is allright.

I usually look for clean, comfortable, safe rooms at a value, and this met all needs. The manager was extremely accommodating. The rate included a very nice breakfast daily and the hotel was easy to find, just 2 blocks from the U3 Zippererstrasse stop (although several stops from city core, the Ubahn runs so frequently this wasn't a problem)

staff answered many of my questions patiently and also told me of a more efficient and economical way to get to the hotel from the airport. At breakfast, there was an attendant that supposedly makes sure everything is well stocked on the buffet noticed that I was able to only get a trickle of coffee into my coffee cup since it seemed to have run out, did nothing to replenish the coffee in the dispensor. So I was able to get only a third of a cup of coffee and others who came after me had no coffee.

Warmth of the staff
A little further out of the centre of town than other cities it is on a tram line and rail line is 5 min walk at most. Vienna is a city to travel the train anyway as things are quite spread out. I was given a large room with three beds even though sole traveller. Comfortable room with own bathroom. Massive cupboard space so can unpack properly and spread out. The Manager particularly made me feel welcome, which being a sole traveller I found to be most appreciated. Good internet from the lounge area.

It what you get from the hotel, it's on the cheaper side but just what you need place to stay , but the internet poor because it only works in the reception area, other than that it is good.

For the price, this appears as a good hotel, situated in a convinient location in Vienna, close to Metro, trams and shops. The host is very good, friendly and helpful. However, what lets down this hotel is totally uncomfortable beds, which are very spongy and springy. It was difficult to even sleep for one night properly. And the room was very noisy, continuous sound of cars coming in all night, and no AC, can be quite hot in the room. The bathroom is pretty old, and could do with more lights and soap ! No soap in the room ! Also the area is a pretty low rung neighbourhood.The parking is on the street, free but kinda difficult to find a spot and can be a bother. Wifi works only in the lounge.

Close to Zipperstrasse Metro stop in quiet area
Basic no frills hotel that served its purpose. Wi-fi in rooms 203 to 207 corridor very frustrating as it was hit and miss. Wasted many hours of this vacation trying to get web pages to load. Seemed better late at night loading about 10 pages in an hour. Maybe because the antennas of the modem were pointed up to the ceiling instead of toward the rooms? If I held my device above my head while standing on the bed, the signal seemed better. Wifi available most of the time was available in the lobby except the day we were to book our next city's hotel. Down the street is a SchnitzelHaus restaurant with free wifi and a strong signal and no password. We stood across the street on the sidewalk to complete our next hotels.com booking! Breakfast was kaisers and deli meat, cheese, jam, Nutella. Staff, especially the lady owner helpful and friendly.
