Had a 3 day break in vienna, sonja gave very clear instructions how to get the keys and even how to get from the airport which was a nice touch. The apartment has everything you need and close to the underground. Would recommended and definitely would stay again next time in vienna.

The underground is near Appartements Hermine. The apartment is a bit of a distance from the tourist sites so the underground is a necessity. There is an elevator but you do still have to walk up about 5-6 steps to the apartment. The apartment is very nice.

We enjoyed our stay. It’s a nice apartment near the city center, public transportation and on the river. I would stay here again.

Overall Great, read for Pros & Cons

Pros: The apartment is spacious and has lots of amenities (washer, coffee, fridge, dishes etc. Walking distance to main city center (5 - 15 minutes depending on which bridge). Sonja was excellent at communicating all of the details and extremely accommodating!
Cons:
The main bedroom is a little small where the bed itself is and the pillows are not very comfortable. Also no air conditioning inside the bedroom or living room, so you may have to leave the window open. You do have to carry your luggage up or down a small set of stairs before getting to an elevator.

Yes you are correct, there is not always separat aircondition in each single room, and you need to be able to walk a few steps. Good old Europe, charming Vienna our house was built in 1870, more than 150 years ago. We are happy we could build an elevator and airconditions with the renovations, and tried our best to get a good combination of modern Standard and historic athmosphere, which is often not easy with all the restrictions we have.....but we really hope to be able to create a cosy Feeling of Vienna now and then. Sonja was extremely responsive, the property is beautiful, clean and well maintained - we had a fantastic stay in the city and would happily return there
