Disappointing overall
Posted 6 Jun 2024 on HotelsI stayed in early June ( out of season in the area) the hotel was in effect closed, no staff there ( just someone who came to check us in ) so no bar or food. No option for breakfast. I think we were to only two staying there. It was a one night stay (thankfully) and in the morning we had no Hot Water, just packed and left as no staff around. I understand owners and staff want holidays in the off season but then they should just have closed the hotel for a few weeks. Only positive point was safe parking outside for our motorbikes.

Cozy mountain lodge offers outstanding value
Posted 18 Jul 2021 on HotelsPros: Picturesque, historic lodge nestled in hillside village of Casau above Vielha. Short stroll to panoramic views. 5-star welcome and smooth check-in, owners speak English. Tasty order-made (due to COVID) breakfast available at extra charge. Common spaces and rooms are cozy and rustic. Blackout shutters in room. Outstanding value.
Cons: Access difficult without car, views of valley from property are obstructed by surrounding buildings, narrow staircase to rooms, slight odor from plumbing and strong air freshener in room, no bidet in bathroom, owners smoked (outside).

Room was very small. Also Hotels.com said it had a restaurant, but it only served breakfast. Second time this week that hotels.com have got it wrong about places having a restaurant. They need to check their facts

Great location

Quaint, comfortable, and delicious
Posted 13 Oct 2016 on HotelsWe felt incredibly welcome by the people who run the hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful. It's been the best breakfast we've had so far on our trip to Spain. It's been so far the only hotel in Spain where we didn't smell cigarette smoke.
Warning for disabled travelers: the hotel is not wheelchair friendly. There is no elevator to the upper floors. The parking is not right next to the hotel, but the owner made our life a lot easier by being very accommodating.
