Exceptional Experience

Solar dos Anjos offered the best care and comfort. The unique room (the tower) was furnished beautifully. Everything about the hotel was luxurious and welcoming. The hosts were kind, informative, helpful and made sure we were taken care of at evey turn. We would recommend staying in for dinner - the meal was unforgettable and came with exceptional wine/port pairings. The view/surrounding environment of the countryside offers travelers respite and tranquility from the busy day to day. It truly is a place locked in another time.

Heaven on earth

Solar dos Anjos is an amazing place. Luis and Christine are delightful hosts and ensure that everything is as it should be. Rooms are spacious and quiet, breakfast is plentiful and fresh; all in all, we cannot recommend Solar dos Anjos highly enough.

A lovely hotel right in the mountains. Every morning you can enjoy your breakfast with an amazing view of Nord Portugals Landscape. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your vacation.

Fantastisches Haus auf dem Land im Chateau-Stil

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in sehr schönem, gepflegten Haus. Sehr netter Empfang durch die Eigentümerin. Herrliche Aussicht in die Natur. Etwas abseits vom nächsten Dorf, wo man aber abends hervorragend Essen kann. Vielen Dank und alles Gute!

L'une de mes plus belles expériences hôtelières

Boutique hotel pleine de charme, de cachet. Un lieu empreint par l'histoire. Tout est élégant, soigné que ce soit dans les chambres ou les espaces de l'hôtel en général...Un vrai cocon haut de gamme. Les petits déjeuners sont incroyablement bons. Les hôtes sont très accueillants. C'était un séjour parfait !

My very best recommendations

In the countryside, 1 hour from Porto you find this gem. The really, really nice hosts, Christine and Luis, are warmly welcoming you to their small, lovely hotel with only 5 rooms. The hotel is all renovated in a Baroque style, with ancient walls from the 1700th century kept. The view over the surrounding hills is stunning. Free parking and wifi available. I hope I´ll have the opportunity to come back!
