tatty hotel, rather noisy, with average food

Pros: Location
Cons: Nearly everything
Location: 15 minutes from Herning. Pleasant small town location with several supermarkets and cafes.
Our experience at this hotel was poor, partly at least because Expedia incorrectly advertised what was available at the hotel and, when we arrived, the hotel didn't have the facility we had booked. Both the hotel and Expedia were extremely unhelpful about this and we ended up having to pay twice as much by booking a second room.
The hotel is really like a British 'motel'. It is in need of refurbishment - showers and TVs don't work properly, the swimming pool is freezing cold- and the food on offer is adequate but boring.. Hotel Falken is clearly part of a larger Danish chain. It is very conveniently situated close to the Herning conference centre (15 mins by car) in a very pleasant small town/large village.
Don't expect any kind of luxury ( even the shampoo provided is awful) but you can expect basic accommodation and at least the beds are comfy!

De kamer was klein en niet echt schoon, het hele gebouw mag een renovatie krijgen en het personeel mag iets enthousiaster zijn .
