Very nice views, spa staff could of been more accomodating for my children to use the indoor pool as the outdoor one was too cold. Other wise nice rooms, and rest of staff were very nice..ended up staying two extra nights

Great view from the restaurant and outdoor seating. Our room was very small, and we couldn’t keep the shades open because people in the neighboring office building could see into our room, even though we were on a higher floor. Clean and very accommodating.

I’m genuinely puzzled as to how Hotel Mary earned a 4-star rating. Our experience here was underwhelming, to say the least. Firstly, the room didn’t match the photos online. It felt outdated and not nearly as nice as advertised. The bathroom was a particular disappointment, with mold visible in multiple spots—far from a 4-star standard. The bed was overly soft, making for an uncomfortable sleep, and surprisingly, there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room. When we asked the staff if a kettle was available, they said yes but charged us for it. We were also asked to pay 5 euros per tea bag! One staff member said it was free, but another insisted on the charge—communication among the staff was clearly lacking. Speaking of staff, most seemed unsure about basic policies, and some were outright rude. It was frustrating trying to get simple answers or service. The restaurant was another letdown: the prices were high, and the food was tasteless and lacked the quality you’d expect at this level. Overall, this is a 3-star experience at best. I wouldn’t recommend Hotel Mary if you’re looking for a genuine 4-star stay in Vico Equense.

It is disappointing to hear that the style or layout did not meet your personal preferences.Mold in the bathroom:Cleanliness is one of our top priorities, and we conduct thorough checks of all rooms daily. Had you informed us during your stay, we would have sent our housekeeping team immediately to address any concerns.Soft bed and uncomfortable sleep:Our beds are selected to cater to a wide range of comfort preferences. We regret that you found the mattress overly soft and encourage guests to request additional bedding adjustments when needed.No tea or coffee facilities in the room:It is clearly stated on booking platforms that tea and coffee sets are not provided in the rooms. However, room service is available from 7:30 AM to midnight, and guests may request more powerful hairdryers or kettles if needed. Regarding the charge for tea, we apologize for the apparent miscommunication and will ensure that our staff receives additional training to provide consistent information.Staff behavior and communication issues:We pride ourselves on delivering attentive and professional service, so I am disappointed to hear about your experience. Hotel Mary was a great place to stay at, had great views and the staff were friendly. It’s a Family Owned Business. For transportation, we mostly relied on their family member, Antonio. He’s a really nice guy- always available to provide transportation when needed.

Wonderful Hotel and wonderful staff! Will stay here again! Can’t wait to go back! 5 min walk from the town centre and very laid back and quiet. Train station is only a 10 min walk away and there are taxis as well. Food at the hotel and local restaurants was excellent. The included breakfast at the hotel was amazing. ONE and only disappointment was the pool was very cold!! But otherwise phenomenal hotel and people!

Gave us a different room than I booked. The owner stared at us with no smile as if he was judging us. Would not stay there again: bartender was nice and a couple of the front desk people were nice as well.
