We had a lovely one night stay at this bed and breakfast. We stayed in the family cottage/suite which is a separate structure, just across the small but lovely gardens in front of the house. I stayed with my wife and 3 kids (11 and and under). We had plenty of space. They stayed in a big bedroom with 3 beds, and they were nice enough (ahead of time, on my request) to provide a portable crib for my son and fans in both rooms as I am a bit of a princess when it comes to sleeping conditions. I slept very well, it was quiet and comfortable, very nice bedding.
We did not utilize the spa facilities, attached to the cottage where only we stayed, which were open to the other guests until 830pm but we did not see anyone else use these facilities. They looked nice.
But we were tired from a long week of exploring France. We stopped here as kind of a "close to the airport" option for our last night. Our goal was something close to Giverny. While it is not super close to either Giverny (15 min) or CDG (a bit over an hour), it was very easy to get back here after a visit to Monet's home and gardens in the afternoon. We ate in Giverny and came back to a peaceful spot. The kids loved spending a few minutes in the garden reading before bed.
The host went above and beyond by providing us breakfast in our room extra early before we left for CDG. Delicious pastries, yogurt, porridge, and baguette with butter and jam.
This was a lovely stay.

Le Clos St. Paul was absolutely lovely. Our cottage was charming- well appointed and decorated. Very comfortable and with thoughtful amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna on premises as well. The owner was warm and welcoming. We dined a a restaurant that was about 15 minutes away. (There is not much closer.) We stayed at Le Clos St. Paul after visiting two chateau earlier in the day. Again, lovely accommodation.

It was a very hot day, our room was on the second floor, had a very small window, no air circulation to exchange the air, it was extremely hot, no AC, not even a fan, we had a difficult time to sleep in that room. It was also not a good value for money price was high for a room. We discussed the heat issue, however the owner was not open minded to hear about it. We were told the temp does not go high too often to justify a fan!!!

An absolute joy
Posted 27 May 2022 on HotelsWhat a joy to have stayed here. Our first on our road trip and as soon as we stepped out of the car we were welcomed by our charming host. We were going to visit Monet;s garden the following day and to set us up for this our room had a wonderful Monet style painting on the wall. After a long drive from the UK we were very pleased to be able to use the spa jucazzi and sauna.
Being close to the Seine we had a meal in a Lebanese restaurant followed by a walk along the banks of the river.
The following morning we went down to find our breakfast had been laid out in the garden.
Certainly a wonderful way to start our holiday. Thank you for making it so memorable.

Enough space for family of four and probably for more, very nice breakfast with home-made yogurt, great drinks with fresh baguettes, croissants, and pain-au-chocolats.
Great hospitality and flexibility of the host will be remembered for a long time.
