In short, it is a good hotel, run by a family, quite close to Verona, which is connected by public transportation and a 20-minute drive away. We have stayed there for 3 years in a row and it is consistent in its quality-cleanliness-price. Spacious, bright rooms, and home made restaurant inside, nothing more is needed.

Did not feel safe In shower floors very slippery and mold in bathroom. Toilet seat was almost falling off, pillows were hard and room so small hard to get around. Both nights restaurant was reserved for another party so couldn’t be used by us as guests. Parking garage seemed very dangerous to use as it was very steep going in and out and the elevator was extremely slow . Would not at all recommend this property.

The property was and worn out . The room was old furniture, bathroom was dark no light mold on the ceiling in bathroom shower you had to open the door to turn around. This hotel has not been up dated since the 1970’s
You should take the place off your list.

There are not a real shower even —you have to sit in the bathtub to shower. Requested 2 separate beds—gave us 1

Dear Mr Alexander,I'm sorry to hear this, I've checked and your booking was for a double room and so you were allocated, it did have a bath but if only you would have let us know soon after check in that you prefer a shower we could let's check it out if it was possible to change. In fact, most of our bathrooms have a shower, but some have a bathtub.I hope I have clarified, have a nice dayMara

Room was comfortable but the smell of cigarette was really strong. Breakfast was really good. Hotel is 25 min away from train station.

Pros: Friendly staff always willing to help.
Good restaurant, cheap compare to other options, food is like home.
Cons: is an old property , not well maintained but clean, internet available only in the lobby ….

It is a great family run hotel where everyone is most friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very good with locally sourced and freshly cooked food. The wine list is very good value for excellent local wines and beers.
Breakfast is substantial and well presented.
The hotel is situated on a bus route with easy access to the city and local sites.
We would certainly recommend staying here when visiting Verona
