The whole property was run down, the area in front of the entrance was littered and dirty. I did not feel secure inside, as the door lock was just a common keyed type. The bed area was ok as was the bed. The bathroom needed some cleaning. They wrote up a bill for $85 for the room and I told them I paid Expedia $113. $85 was what it should have been. I wanted to cancel, but wasn’t sure if I could.

sorry that's how you felt. As we discussed upon your arrival that what Expedia charges is always going to be higher then the amount they allow us to take at the motel when doing a pre-paid reservation. if you weren't happy with the room we would have refunded. All you had to do was come into the office and say something. We understand as the building has seen better days.

Great experience! Just needed some lights in the room. Washroom know was broken and unfortunately no one came in to fix but rest it was so good!!

As with a older property where and tear is to be expected the staff does a good job to minimize shortfalls nostalgic details are hard to ignore I enjoyed my stay and give it a good review

I have never seen a room look this bad. Filthy. Very old and unkempt. Broken glass on patio door. When we were taken too the room, someone had thrown soapy water to clean the entrance. This motel should not be operating until they meet basic standards. Do not stay here.

Sorry that's how you feel. Our building and rooms are fully operational. The room you were put into was not dirty and the lamp worked fine if you plugged it in and not moved it to the floor away from the plug outlet. Hope you found something and have a safe 2024.
