Hostel feel at a nice hotel price
Posted 30 Jun 2024 on HotelsDingy. Check-in was unnecessarily challenging. Should say upfront that you need to find a random door in the square to buzz a guy to enter a garage to walk you up to the room. Shabby

PROS: Great location, near train station, not too many steps up. Very convenient the private parking in La Spezia (the public parking at the La Spezia train station gets full by mid-morning). Clean, comfortable apartment. Staff responsive via phone, gave great advice on restaurant and baggage storage.
CONS: the only window gives on to an adjacent wall. Staff not responsive to Expedia messages. Micro bathroom. Don't let the check-in guy break your passport to take a picture of it!

The place was great, clean, spacious, and everything worked. The location was close to an exit so it didnt require you to take too many stairs and the exit lead you to the train. Yes you can hear the train and the view was of the wall but honestly not bad at all since didnt soend much time there anyways
