The view was peaceful and inspiring , along the coastline between cliff lines. The sound of waves was in the background could be heard as you fall asleep.
No elevators which is common for many hotels on the coast.
The shoals restaurant has wonderful fresh entrees and desserts for a celebratory occasion. $$ Fine wine available$$ but little variety for cocktails. $
25 -30 min from Santa Barbara easy on access to highway. 30 min from Airport. Very convenient.

The property is dated and barely clean. I can’t recommend it to my friends and family.
