Hotel in Venice suburb
Posted 16 Sep 2018
Pros: Proximity to railway station
Cons: First stay the fridge did not work and air conditioning not very effective and rooms very old and furniture dated, stay in the new rooms was better
Location: Walk to railway station, only a couple of stops to Mestre or Lucia stations
4 star hotel, however there is an old and new section and old section is by no means 4 star. If booking request the new rooms.

Cons: Chunky fellow attitude towards his staff and customers

I really like the hotel staff apart from one guy ( chunky fellow in glasses ), breakfast buffet was awesome, and lady who cleaned rooms did amazing job.

A handy hotel for Venice
Posted 15 May 2017 on HotelsThis hotel is very close to the railway station (5 minutes walk) which makes it very handy for travelling into Venice which is only 3 stops away. The hotel itself was very good, reception staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean and a good size and the room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. The coffee machine is worth a mention it had good a good choice of coffee to suit everyone and piping hot.

Very close to train station, but....
Posted 13 Oct 2016 on OrbitzThe hotel is nice from outside and our room was clean. at our arrival the receptionist informed us of a complementary upgrade to the executive room; the nice thing about the room was a huge tub/shower. The pillows were kind of flat and hard, however, when asked they brought very nice pillows.
the room seems "old" the walls were of a weird color and the floor was a discolored/consumed laminated flood. also the room was facing the street and right in front the hotel (VERY small square) there is a bar with people catching and laughing loudly until 3am (it was a Friday night). No sound-proof AT ALL!. The breakfast was decent for some things and bad for other (e.g. black bananas on the table).

Great hotel on the mainland close to Venice
Posted 22 Aug 2016
Pros: The staff really were exceptional and the location was ideal for us.
Cons: The town is very quiet and has limited facilities. It is easy and cheap to get the train to Treviso and Venice for a nice day out.
Location: The town - Mogliano Veneto is very quiet and is on the mainland outside of the city. There are plenty of places to walk and a few to eat.
We spent a week here in August and loved every minute. The staff were friendly, excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfectly adequate for our weeks stay and the include breakfast had plenty to cater for everybody's requirements. It was nice to be out of the main city but within 3 minutes walk of the train station which was a 20 minute journey over to the main city of Venice.
A really lovely stay and a beautiful place.
