Mixed but good stuff for kids
Posted 25 Jul 2024 on HotelsStaff were great, pool and bouncy pillow were fantastic for the kids (6 and 8), but the accommodation I don't think was the one I paid for and was quite basic, cleanliness was not great (also not terrible), the 1 HR booking for the gym was a bit annoying and not open late. The pictures of a nice pub on site - not the case there is no pub

We loved having a whole house to ourselves, complete with a mostly full kitchen! We felt safe and secure because of the gated entrance. Having the office closed at 5:00 most days was a bit challenging at times as we were often touring during the day and had questions in the evening. But when we were able to ask our questions, they were very helpful!

Super clean and modern and spacious - wonderful property! It felt like a plush 2nd home. Stayed there with our boys and our Great Dane and were super comfortable. About 1/2 way between beach and Amsterdam, easy to get to both in about 15 mins. Lovely view of tree, nature and little creeks. CONS: we did not know that towels would not be provided but that was a relatively easy fix compared to how much we liked everything else. Also, it's about 10 min drive to next grocery store so stock up well before getting there!

Our property was clean and nice. It is in a beautiful park like area. It is not ideal for people without a car, because it's pretty far from Haarlem, Amsterdam and too far to walk to groceries. The kitchen was sparsely furnished, so a little hard to self-cater.
