Beautiful location on riverside, we were upgraded to a room with patio and garden seating. Breakfast excellent unfortunately the restaurant was closed on the night of our stay so had a 12 kilometre drive in town to eat. The hotel did email us to let us know that the restaurant would be closed.

Posted 30 Aug 2018 on HotelsBeautiful location, peaceful and calm beside the river. It is a very convenient base for exploring the Vendee and the Marais, while being off the beaten track.
The hotel itself is very attractive, clean, comfortably furnished, and clearly cared for. Our rooms faced the river, and were comfortable and quiet. Good bed, good shower, good storage. Everything we wanted. The food is amazing, and the breakfast generous and tasty. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I really do recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful, comfortable, stay with good food and good access to the area. 10 out of 10

Posted 16 May 2016 on HotelsA one night stopover. Nice friendly family run hotel, next to the river. Very pretty, old world charm. Comfy beds and good size rooms.
The restaurant is very good, excellent quality food for a reasonable price, although it may not suit young children, young adults may enjoy the unusual menu.

Posted 14 May 2016Main reason for staying was to eat at the restaurant but the new rooms in the riverside annexe were delightful, although small. Well appointed with good beds and modern en suites. We will return!
