"We only had one night in Ribe with our two teenage children, so wanted accommodations with plenty of space. Storkesøen was perfect! We had a large a-frame cabin with three bedrooms and a full kitchen. it was so nice to hit the grocery store and be able to come back and make dinner and breakfast. Kitchen was well-equipped with all the basics. We did have to pay additional per person rate for linens (bath towel and sheets) but traveling from overseas it required. "You will not be disappointed with your stay here. It has a feeling of opulence with it's large period decor rooms and four poster beds. Our apartment had three large bedrooms and fully kitted kitchen and a lovely bathroom with a free standing bath and a separate shower too. They lounge dinner again was lovely and spacious. The receptionist was so helpful and it was her first day working there but was so very attentive. The staff should be congratulated for their hardwork as it really shows....

"The staff gave excellent service and advice on extra activities ie the use of the sports facilities namely the indoor and outdoor swimming pools diving boards hottubs and saunas. Reality recommended! Also dinner options at the sports centre was great but the breakfast with hot flapjacks was a treat. Thank you . I definitely recommend a stay."

"Location is fantastic! View across a meadow to the 1000 year old harbor and historic Ribe with the cathedral towering above it all. Somewhat basic accommodations, but everything was sparkling clean and worked. And the breakfast was delicious and very well stocked."

"It was off season and at night so we drove right past it. When we were finally situated the owners (staff) were wonderful to deal with. We even added an extra night after we stayed there because we liked it so well."

"Next to sport facility and there is enough parkingspace. Also convieniant A nearby supermarket, Nice staff. From there A 50 minute drive to Billund - Legoland. Found the pricing a bit to high for what you get. We did not like the shower it was one with A push button And normally for the price we paid you get a hotel room with airconditioning. "

"If you enjoy staying in small friendly hotels that are old Danish then this is a nice place. The restaurant is dark wood paneling from another time. Books and pictures from long ago decorate the dinning room. The food is very good and good quality. I recommend having dinner on the first night. We had dinner there each night of our three night stay. "

"The location was perfect for the business trip. The accomodation itself was clean and tidy although basic and was in need of an update. I ate in their restaurant and the food was excellent. The breakfast was satisfactory but thats just because no cereal available and basic continetal of meat, cheese and bread isnt my thing. The service was fantastic and friendly, I requested an irion and board and this was brought to my room within 2 minutes. I will use again when next in the area."

Great hotel in a great location

"I really liked this hotel. In an excellent location in the centre of town and opposite the train station. Also had an entrance into the local library which for me was a real bonus. The room was a good size. Very comfortable bed with a good choice of different pillows. Excellent breakfast with a good choice of items. My only criticism here was the coffee being served in glasses with no handles meaning hot to handle. Hotel decor was excellent. Worth taking the stairs instead of the lift for a quick art trip around the world! All in all an excellent hotel. Would definitely stay again if I am back in Kolding. "
