It was so nice to get a clean quiet room after a full day of traveling. Very appreciative.

basic comfort but clean
Posted 7 Sep 2020 on HotelsThe place is pretty and clean. Unfortunately I was given a room with a very basic shower, no windows and no view. And there's no air conditioning, as this area in the south of France can get really hot, I think it's important to mention that.
All in all I was disappointed by my stay, I'm sure there are much prettier rooms. Mine was really basic.

Perfect for a base point
Posted 21 Jul 2019 on HotelsGood hotel. Helpful host. The bedding conditions weren't the best and you'd need to drive everywhere from the hotel but that puts the hotel in the middle of many places to visit over several days.

The settings are just perfect for nice weekend satay in the region.

Remote yet well placed for canoeing, bird reserve
Posted 30 Jun 2017 on HotelsAvoid the over-priced restaurant bar (not same ownership) close by and go to local town. Air-con was broken in our room and fan was insufficient to address heat build-up and dispersion.
My concern is to save energy costs, it was never working as other rooms with air-con units had fans as well. if so, a bit of penny pinching as I would have readily paid a room surcharge for it as the heat in the day was 34-37C. On stating the air-con was broken, no suggestion to a room where it was working was made and the hotel was not fully booked.
The heat factor was not helped by the screen on bathroom window being damaged at one corner and therefore open to mosquitoes ( not bad at time of stay). Do you leave the window open and take a risk or sleep badly in the heat? We chose the latter.
Breakfast at Euro 8.was good, nice selection. A number of French guests preferred to skip and go to the cafes in the local town /by the beach.
Host was genial, would I stay again? probably if at a cooler time of year. Without air-con working and a phone call in advance to confirm, no I would not in the high summer period.

Comfortable hotel conveniently placed between coast and route back to Avignon for return journey to UK. Full of character and ambience. Breakfast very good value and plenty of choice. Mosquitos were a bit of a problem in height of summer but nets and plug in insect destroyer were appreciated.

Overnight stay visiting Carmargue
Posted 27 Jul 2014 on HotelsLovely French building and courtyard. Our room was a little basic for the cost, breakfast extra. Very friendly owner and only 10 minutes from Carmargue national park visitor centre

Awesome place
Posted 24 Jun 2014 on HotelsThis place is awesome. Very beautiful and a lot of good taste. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. We had a very good experience with them. Felt like friends. Their daughter is very nice and passionate about her horses. She talked a lot about her passion. We had a wonderful time and we are highly recommending this address.
