It's a fairly old type hotel, very few English - so not catered for at all. Had breakfast once as it was dire. Didn't eat any main meals or snacks either as it all looked awful. The eastern Europeans were eating it fine so it was prob down to taste. The staff seemed really grumpy - only the bar staff ever found a smile and that was rare. The rooms were barely touched when it came to cleaning - had to ask the maid to change the towels on the 3rd day which was done begrudgingly. The room was a good size (their best rooms) however the balcony was the smallest I've ever seen - only on these rooms. It was however very private. The pool was quite small and in the shade most of the day. The hotel was in a good position for bars and restaurants. The resort itself was lovely although the food didn't live up to much anywhere.

Good Value for the Money
Posted 22 Sep 2010Hotel Royal is an older hotel, although it has had some renovations. It's a little run-down at the edges, but for the money and "all inclusive" aspect, it is well worth the stay. The food was a cut above what I have experienced at other all inclusive resorts; and plenty of "snack times" during the day plus good local beer, wine and liquors from a bartender who had a very free pouring hand. The room was adequate, with a good A/C system, great view (everyone either has a pool or sea view), plenty of channels on the TV (in various languages) and decent toilet/shower. Staff was helpful although their English was basic. It is in a good location less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and tons of cafes, restaurants, clubs and and boutiques closer by.

worst hotel which I ever been!
Posted 23 Aug 2017
Pros: Nothing never ever in my life not even when I got it for free
Cons: Everything which I mentioned up.
Please expedia controll this hotel or take it out from your website.
Location: Restaurant, Clubs shoping market.
I have so much to say, but this text box is limited with word, I will mark the Key words.
Reception: Biggest joke ever its declared as 4 star but for me isn't even 1 star, the guys on the desk no welcome, no introduction, nothing! They so rude to us and no Respect at all! Lost our Keys blamed as well to us. The personal can't speak English at all.
Food: We had all inclusive, the dinner was disgusting, I know they have different quality standards but never ate in my life so bad. The people which was working on the Restaurant area was screaming each other and trowed food as well, I was shocked!
Internet: No i-net in the rooms and the only i-net which was free was in the looby and this wasn't working at all. Not even in Angola I had bad internet.
Beach: Its close to the beach aprox. 5 min to walk.
Room: was OK, but we was a few days there and we hanging out the sign with "do not disturb" the cleaning personal cam in and cleaned our room, because of them be careful!
Morning: Oh this was the worst part every morning around 10 am the hotel played so loud music that I got some mental damage. Can't sleep.

Bra nærhet til strand og buss
Posted 23 Jul 2017Bra opphold. Nærhet til det meste av strand, taxi, buss og supermarked.
Men liten heis kapasitet med mye venting. Det et 14 etasjer der.
