On the beach kilometres of sand n surf, great view from the rooms, spacious rooms, good breakfast, near the multiple restaurants and shopping area. Please Upgrade to lumber supporting mattresses, new upholstery of furniture and TV. This is the best located property on Papnasam Beach.

I have stayed at this hotel several times due to its location. Everything is satisfactory, just a little tired. Bathroom can do with updating. Service from restaurant staff is very good. Had an issue with reception not finding our room booking which caused a couple of hours of stress .

Water was not coming in the flush when checked in. It was rectified within half hour. Said that tank was empty. Okey, but early in the morning, the situation was same. Just imagine flush not working early in the morning, and not having a bucket or things like that. Secondly, even after rectification water was dripping just outside the washroom. Such things usually happen in cheap hotels. Sorry to mention these.

Very good but suffers a severe lack of maintenance
Hotel is very well located just in front of a very nice beach and at a walking distance of North Cliff where you will find a lot of shops and restaurants. Executive rooms are clean, spacious and well fitted with a superb view to the beach and incredible sunsets. Swimming pool is definitively a plus with a fantastic. Breakfast is average. However the Hotel suffers from a severe lack of maintenance everywhere (most chairs are broken at the swimming pool, paint is falling apart, ...). I would certainly come back but if the lack of maintenance continues for a while I am afraid that I would have to consider other options.

Hindustan Retreat is in an interesting location with much activity all around. The view of the beach from our room was great and we really enjoyed the sunsets from our porch. The breakfast offerings were meager but good. We requested info on yoga classes but no one ever got back to us?

Super location!
Location is great. All rooms have sea view. Interesting to watch the rituals on the beach. Pool was amazing and pool attendant very helpful. Good hotel for children. Breakfast was a welcome addition. The hotel is tired and there are pigeons on the building (owing to its design) but the hotel is certainly clean inside. The staff generally were very helpful and with three kids we found this useful. This hotel is not luxury but it is clean, comfortable and child friendly - in my opinion. In line with what you pay. Would recommend given the explaination above.

+ Läget fantastiskt! Kunde inte varit bättre!Vacker utsikt! Fin pool! Frukost ok men maten var inte riktigt varm och juicen inte så kall. Fin utsikt från restaurangens takterass.Trevlig personal. - Väldigt hårda sängar, Svårt att spola på toaletten!Se frukosten. Det var lågsäsong då vi var där så vi kunde inte få annat än massage I SPA avdelningen, ingen yoga som utlovats. Men i det stora hela var vi väldigt nöjda med hotellet! Vi kan tänka oss att komma tillbaka!

Good value for money, but not completely new
Good value for money and very close to the waterside. Large rooms and a very nice view from our room (and the top floor where they serve breakfast and dinner). Pleasant pool both for adults and children. The first day the cleanliness was medium, but the second night it was very good. You will notice that the facilities are not brand new but on the other side the staff is friendly and very helpful.
