It was my second time staying at the Sylvia and it was a wonderful experience. Our room was upgraded to a suite and it was so nice to have the extra space. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is amazing as you are minutes away from Stanley Park and close to Denman where there is no shortage of restaurants. 10/10 would stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay. Right on the water. Staff are very professional. Highly recommend

Sylvia continues to do something every year to make the hotel nicer: remodeling the bathrooms, new carpets, a much better elevator system from lobby to upper floors.
and the restaurant is excellent. Good food and good waiters.
