"Hernan the owner is an absolute gem. He provided an excellent introduction to the area and gave us a bottle of champagne to ring in the new year. Keep in mind, this is an apartment, not a fancy hotel. The room had everything you need, the sheet are clean etc... but expect some wear-and-tear and the need to fidget with the showers. Also, the place is only five minutes from fun bars, restaurants and night life. "

"The Hotel Boutique 17 is a wonderful place. I cannot say enough good about it. The entire staff is great, from the front desk to the cleaning personel to the waiters at the restaurant. They are compitent and pleasant. The restaurant /bar has the best view in town and really good food. And the rooms are spacios, clean, and comfortable. I wish I had stayed there a month"

Speaking of breakfast, it was a wonderful buffet, and the views from that rooftop are even more expansive that the room views. If you're used to 5-star hotels with room service and every room like the Waldorf Astoria, this is not for you. But if you want a unique hotel experience that you'll be sure to tell your friends, try this place."
