Our two lovely hosts were amazingly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Fantastic location and beautiful views. Immaculate property.

Terrible neighborhood. Smoking was allowed. We did not stay.

The two ladies who run the hotel were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. Everything in the house is old worldly charm, which is what lured us to the Grand House.

Very friendly Staff, comfortable and Clean room and very tasty made from scratch breakfast. Do not drive a car to this location unless you are willing to juggle.... and if so do an automatic transmission one never a shift stick unless you are comfortable; very steep and narrow streets.

Your rating urges us to improve in those aspects that it is possible to improve. 90% of Valparaíso has narrow and steep streets and there are very few parking lots, so the recommendation is valid, but if you dare, we have closed and secure parking.

Olde world charm

The place is a grand old house converted into a small hotel and is situated on one of the several hills that make this city so extraordinary. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Local feel spectacular view
Posted 31 Mar 2018 on HotelsThe Grand Hotel is for people who would like a local experience. The hosts were very helpful and made us very welcome supporting us to see the sights in the city we wanted to visit. The views from the terrace are amazing and made the stay pleasant.
