Posted 16 Aug 2019 on HotelsI should start by saying that the room is updated and modern, however, it lacks a lot! The room is very noisy due to the busy road and the bed is super uncomfortable! The bathroom lacked the toiletries that are usually supplied by hotel. We staying two nights. There is supposed to be daily housekeeping and the room was never cleaned! We told the front desk and all we got was an “I’m sorry”. I didn’t feel that was good enough. If you want breakfast, make sure to reserve the night before, but personally, It didn’t look worth it to me! Overall, I would not stay there again!

Mattress made of wood planks!!!
Posted 10 Aug 2018 on HotelsI cannot express enough how uncomfortable the bed was. It was as if we were lying on a wooden board. I dreaded going to bed. The pillows felt like they had lil balls of yarn inside of them. If the owner put more detail into the room then the lobby, he would have happier customers. The young man at the counter was very sweet and gave us directions to an excellent restaurant. Breakfasy was basically yogurt and several cake options. Would never stay again. If you are looking for a place to lay ur head, go for it...but for comfort and relocation no way. I wnated to leave after my 1st night but would of lost the $$.

Some pros, some minuses

Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable rooms
Cons: Internet connection - it was terrible
Location: Located far from the city center. Only thing to do nearby is drive.
Clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Located far from the city center. Internet connection impossible in the rooms, barely possible in the lobby (weak wifi strength). No restaurants nearby.

Great hotel, very relaxed atmosphere. Staff polite but a slight language barrier with some which lead to confusion.
Strange crispy waterproof pillow protectors on pillows and bed protector which were very noisy. Bed was very hard and noisy to sit on too.
Not much in close proximity so you need to have a hire car if staying here as it costs a lot in taxis to Porto. Overall we had a pleasant stay!

My only problem was I didn't have a car and there are no restaurants in walking distance and had to move into central Porto. However I preferred thus hotel due to the breakfast, cleanliness and a modern space. Good budget hotel!
