This property is designed for those that like camping. There’s nothing luxury about this site. I felt unsafe and stuffy the whole night. The tent had no air flow, the shower has no hot water/pressure kept going out. The main bathroom had no lights so we had to use our camera phones. There was a portable potty behind our tent if you didn’t want to walk down to the bathroom. No refrigerator, just a cooler of ice and mosquitoes galore! I wish I was refunded for the whole stay but we did get a refund for the last night. We booked 3 nights but only stayed 1. We couldn’t take it after the 1st night. They charged us for 2 nights and refunded 1. The beach was dirty, chairs and umbrellas dirty and over all embarrassing….. I thought this would be heaven on the beach before we went to stay at the luxury resort Tamarid Hills. I suggest Boy Scouts go here if they want to camp on the beach.

When I was looking for a place to stay in Antigua, I was looking to stay as close to a beach as possible. I loved that I woke up on the beach every morning while staying at Wild Lotus. I had never camped or glamped before, and I thought this was a great introduction into that world.

Please stay here if you want to recharge your batteries! It was the best vacation to be in touch with the sun and sand, which I did solo for 4 nights 5 days. Accommodations were exactly as shown, comfortable, clean & secure. I opted in for the breakfast buffet each day and ate at the nearby Nest restaurant 50 paces away. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. It's quiet at night, locked to the block after 630p, and the Moon over the ocean lights up the beach at night just enough. Showers are refreshing although the pressure is only medium. Communication is quick and they're ready to accommodate any activity or whim-- e.g. I requested an airport transfer and a gallon of water per day, which was fulfilled perfectly. It was really a dream..

Great beach
This is a family run operation, which means a stay with many small personal touches that are very appreciated. The owners are always reachable and available for help. The tents are on an amazing beach, which you have to yourself before and after the cruisers arrive. Inside you have everything you need for a comfortable stay, from comfort bedding down to a portable usb charger. The attached camp showers are a nice addition. Jolly Harbour is less than 5 minutes away for all your dining and supermarket needs.

Tents like hotel rooms - but right on the beach!
We had the most fabulous time. The tents are just like hotel rooms but right on the beach. We wish we'd stayed longer. To fall asleep to the gentle sounds of the waves, and then to wake up and walk right into the sea was just amazing. There was a bottle of chilled white wine and a plate of open sandwiches to welcome us on arrival, which was very welcome indeed! There was also a cool box with ice and water which we used for a picnic. They provided ice packs to keep our stuff cold, which was helpful. Valley Church beach is to die for. The sea is calm and the most amazing turquoise colour. When we were there the beach was nice and quiet. The sunset was beautiful. I'm afraid my pics don't do it justice. The manager Chloe was helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble and we can be a bit high maintenance! Chloe arranged for us to snorkel with turtles. It wasn't a standard tour as such, she works with a local conservation group who monitor the turtles at a 'turtle nursery' in English Harbour. They provide all the snorkel gear and took us there and back and were with us the whole time we were in the water. It was my partners first time ever snorkelling and Chloe really looked after us. It was magical being so close to the turtles and this was the best trip of our holiday. We'd also recommend breakfast, very filing cooked English breakfast as well as fresh fruit and granola etc. We had a great time here - our only problem was keeping the sand out of the tent!

camping on the beach
A recent trip to Wild Lotus Camp was quite a wonderful experience. The founders and hosts are wonderful women! We were welcomed when we arrived to the site and given a little tour of the beach area and our tent. The hosts kept in communication and addressed any questions prior to arrival and at the site. The tent is literally located right on the beach steps away from the beautiful azure sea. Once the visitors leave the beach for the day, you literally have the entire beach to yourself with the other Lotus tent campers. We felt safe throughout the night as the beach property is gated and locked. The Lotus Bell tent is spacious and comfortable . Located on the beach during the day hours there is a beach bar and a limited bar food type menu . A beach bathroom that is available and kept clean is open all day long for Lotus campers. Private solar showers are available for campers only. A supplemental breakfast is offered and the spread was plentiful with lots of variety on real china! Nice touch. I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience. It’s a wonderful way to literally disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The sunshine, the sea, the wonderful people you befriend on vacation, the hosts who are now lovely friends! The amenities are wonderful and they are very accommodating . I am looking forward to going back this October already! Thank you Chloe & Vanetta for an absolutely wonderful experience.

Extremely disappointing all round experience.
This experience was extremely disappointing and not what should happen with any booking. On confirmation, we were told we could check in from 14:30. However, when we arrived at 17:00, know one was there to greet us with the keys to the tent. Instead we were told that our tent / yurt was not even put up. We were told to wait and take in the lovely view of the sunset which was great. Unfortunately, by 19:30 the tent was still not put up and so we had to change all evening plans around this poor service. The staff were extremely unhelpful and offered an inadequate refund. All round a very disappointing service and overall stay was unacceptable.

Staying at the Wild Lotus Camp was such a cool experience! Right on the beach with INCREDIBLE sunsets each night, the room was comfortable and the owners were SO nice. It felt very safe, and while the beach could be crowded during the day, it completely empties out at night for a private experience. Hearing the ocean from the tent was lovely. It is a little hot during the day - it's a tent! I recommend renting a car if you're staying here so you can get around to downtown and restaurants - cabs were a little hard to manage after 5pm in and out of Valley Church beach. My partner and I wanted to do an all inclusive for the whole time, but it was so expensive! We stayed here and it made the trip a perfect mix of fun, and it saved us a lot of money. I really recommend staying here for a few days to subsidize the cost - do all your tours of the island and snorkeling these days, and come back to your private quiet tent, save hundred of dollars on your Antigua trip. The nest restaurant was great too!

Awesome experience!
Just came back from a short trip to Antigua. Stayed at Wild Lotus Camp - the tent was fantastic! It has a bed, sofa, table and is next to an outdoor shower. The beach is just a few meters away! The Nest Beach Bar and Restaurant is very close by and behind it is a small building where the washrooms are located. The hostesses were very nice and accommodating and even helped me arrange a taxi for the airport!
