Posted 28 Jul 2020 on HotelsSpectacular hotel. Very very clean and calm. The surrounding areas are breath taking and the locals very friendly. The breakfast is very good and lots of choice and abundance. If what you want is relaxation, good food and nature, Pousada Valença has you covered!

Good stop at the border

The location, inside the walled fortress was fabulous. The view of the Minho River and Tui, Spain were wonderful. Huge common areas with lots of seating. Nice, sizeable rooms. Good dining options outside the walls for options other than traditional Portuguese. Very nice breakfast and coffee options. Easy 20 minute walk to Tui, Spain - a very nice town.
