"Was a lovely place to sleep for the night. The drive up was an eye opener but once we were there, we felt like we went back in time. Unfortunately it was raining all day so we couldn't walk the gardens or the pool but they looked amazing. The only dinner option was their restaurant which was a bit expensive but otherwise a great experience."

"What an amazing hotel. Fantastic views and so quiet. Beautifully set up in the mountains, it's just what you want for peace and quiet. The grounds around the hotel are perfectly kept. Staff members are friendly and the hotel is clean and spacious. Our room as well was amazing and very modern. Lots of space and very comfortable as well. "The property was beautiful and overall we enjoyed our stay! The pool and the available excursions made it very enjoyable. Our only criticism is that we we’re originally told the restaurant would be open the first night we were there and it wasn’t. Instead we got a “pizza party” this was fine except the cost was not presented to us prior. The pool was also closed early due to a wedding. It would have been nice to know this prior to our stay because it lead to a bit of disappointment. It would...

"A Fascinating and perhaps haunted hotel off the beaten track. You will drive through the beautiful mountains to get there and it’s located in the shadow of an ancient Abby. The staff is lovely, the food at the in-house restaurant is great. And definitely get a bottle of the house red (it’s amazing). You will not be sorry you made this journey. "
