"It was reasonable value for money and spacious. Added bonus to have a covered balcony and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, assisted with luggage up the stairs as no lift in my building. The room itself could have been a little bit cleaner. Found a dark long hair on my pillow, mine is short and blond. Cutlery and utensils a bit pick and mix but i was surprised to have any as the advert said you had to pay extra if staying a few says, so that was ok. Could do with clogh or paper...

"The property was really clean and modern! Wonderful! Would totally come back again and really recommend. The most difficult part was that we arrived on a weekend and there isn’t anyone at reception. we also arrived quite late in the day and we weren’t able to access the property to then use their landline to call them and check-in. We managed to find a phone number on an e-mail we had and the guy we spoke to was so lovely, he gave us the code to get inside the building and helped us check-in. I...

"Stayed in a cabin for 5 nights with our 2 children. Cabins were great value for money and had everything we needed including not having to bring our own bedding or towels! Kids loved the loft bedroom. Cabin kitchen basic but more than enough to cook a decent meal with 2 ring hob and oven plus a few saucepans. Cabin bathroom was really clean with warm shower. Pull out sofa bed by day 5 was feeling a bit lumpy but thats a minor grumble. All spotlessly clean. Having the numerous woodland trails...

"My stay at the Diplomat was lovely. It is an elegant hotel in a beautiful, historic building. The charm of the water across the street and being able to easily walk to the tram or subway near was super convenient. My room was well appointed with nice linens and a comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower too! I ate at the downstairs restaurant twice, both times exactly what I needed with good food and attentive service. "An excellent location, close to transport, shopping and dining options. The restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner. An easy walk to the harbour and Gamla Stan (old town). The room was a good size and clean, however, there was no fridge and no tea and coffee making facilities. These had to be purchased in the reception area."

Half board option

"As a solo traveller I especially enjoyed the included evening meal buffet. Breakfast also very good - only suggestion there is to increase quantities of ‘normal’ black teas (English Breakfast and Earl Grey) put out and remove some of the fruit type tea bags that fewer people seem to go for. Although not in the centre, hotel has very good bus and underground connections a short walk away and it’s in a quiet neighbourhood. My room didn’t blow me away with its decor, and TV had only terrestrial channels, but the bed was comfortable and I slept well, which is the most important thing. At the rate I paid, I think it was a bargain."
