Good place to stay in Uzerche

Uzerche was a nice place but quiet and we found limited options to eat at a reasonable price.
The room was fine.
The restaurant food was good but quite pricey, we thought.

This is a very basic hotel and rather noisy. I would not have taken this hotel had the pictures, information and reviews been more accurate.

Pros: Food
Cons: No cooked breakfast.
Location: Very nice, riverfront location.
Used for overnight stop in France, very friendly staff, excellent food, would recommend to anyone. A*

Great 2 star if you don't mind the stairs
Posted 9 Aug 2011Neat and clean but there is no elevator so if your bags are heavy you might find the climb hard. Good restaurant and bar. Good position in a picturesque village. We had a family room that consisted of smaller rooms separated by a bathroom - quite spacious by European standards. No aircon or fans but had a nice cross breeze with the windows open.
