Positives:
the views from the room were absolutely stunning
the room was spacious and comfortable
the location is great, with relaxed atmosphere and easy access to the city by ferry or by Marmaray train (1 stop to Cirkezi station)
Negatives:
- the wifi was utterly unusable - get a good roaming plan if you plan to stay here;
- the selection of restaurants close to the hotel is certainly more limited than in the centre;
- entering the hotel requires climbing ~20 stairs, which may be a problem for people with limited accessibility;
- small weird annoyances, e.g. the lack of coat hangers on the closet (with the hotel staff unable to provide more)
Other:
* the staff speak very limited English; unless you speak Turkish, Google Translate is your friend.
Overall it was a comfortable stay, and I would love to return!

Not a 4 Star Hotel

Whilst it meets some criteria to get 4 Stars, eg, pool, spa, slippers, the overall hospitality standards were not up to scratch.
Welcome guests...reception is never attended full time.
Cleanliness of Hotel in lobbys lifts never cleaned during my stay.
Rooftop Bar was closed but not mentioned on website.
Restaurant does not serve dinner and the breakfasts served were terrible and below standard.
Staff whilst they tried their best have not been properly trained, more 2 star training was given.
Room cleaning needs improvement not up to standard.
I am saddened to give a review like this, but the reality is that it is a very over-priced Hotel and the only 4 Star in Uskudar so no competition.
The only positives was the deluxe suite views of the Bosphorus and European Side, the Hotel is right across from the main Uskudar Ferry and was very central.
However, you would get better value and service across on the European side for same price.
It is a shame as I wanted to experience a less touristy area to stay but the A11 Bosphorus does not meet it.
All the other reviews before staying there are correct on these points.

I would not recommend. On the surface it looks like a nice hotel, but the service levels are not where they should be.
Pros: close to ferry, great view, spacious rooms
Cons: lazy service, cleaning, pool is for decoration only (how strange!), fittings in rooms feel cheap.
The service was just not great. As an example had to ask multiple times to have room cleaned. My friend also had a stroller with them and every time we asked the front desk/doorman for help carrying it down the stairs, they made a big deal of it. They would do it but just felt like you were hassling them.
The breakfast was awful. Was really looking forward to a proper Turkish breakfast but was really disappointed by the selection. Lots of fruit flies flying around the buffet which is just unappetising. No fresh cooked eggs or food to order either.
