Sewer gas in bathroom was terrible. Furniture was shabby. The desk clerks were fine, hotel was not.

Posted 11 Feb 2024 on HotelsThe worst place in the world. I can’t believe a company like Hite’s.com or Expedia offer their service. It’s dirty and old and the service is awful. Extremely expensive and what you buy it’s not true.
I am very disappointed with this place.
This old e is really bad. Never ever make a reservation there.

Spent two nights at Hotel Antardida and it was everything I expected. The breakfast was nothing special -could have done with more fruit- but what do you expect at this price. For the price and what it offers, it represents very good value.

Posted 7 Feb 2023 on HotelsLocation is good close cith center and harbor. The wifi service is terrible, there is no signal in the room. You have to be in lubby to get access, and there is limited space and only one for power plug.

I already paid for the hotel via expedia but when I was checking in, I was asked to pay in full, I almost paid twice had I not double checked. Then the reception staff took a while to find a room, the whole check-in felt very dodgy and unprofessional. The room was really dirty, mould and dirt everywhere. The shower was broken, it was taped onto the wall. The shower curtain was dirty, and the towels had holes. There was almost nothing to eat at breakfast, no fresh bread just some crumple toast, and some days the toast was from previous days and completely dry and stale. There was no cheese or ham or fruit etc, only butter, jam, croissant and dulce de leche.
I paid for 85 GBP per night for 2 people/double room, we understand Ushuaia is more expensive than some other popular places in Argentina, but this hotel is simply unacceptable, it was the worst place (worst value for money) I have ever stayed!

Horrible and Dirty
Posted 30 Dec 2015The filth was disgusting. The shower did not work. I did not get the wifi or breakfast as advertised. This place was not worth the savings
