"We had two family apartments. One which was the main floor, and one on the third floor. The main level was okay temperature wise with a travel fan; however, the third floor was horrible even with a travel fan. I would highly recommend investing in two fans per room or air conditioning. Bed was comfortable; however, I would invest in real pillows or definitely bring your own. Overall we had a lovely stay. The elevator did breakdown once but was fixed within 24 hours. "Everything about the hotel was amazing, the staff, the room, the food, all great. The hotel grouods are very clean and its a very interesting concept (Erlebnishof is an adventure farm hotel typical of Germany). Family friendly atmosphere with lots of activities for families and a great place for solo travellers."

New Castle exploration!!

"This hotel is absolutely perfect, the complete Danube river side of the hotel looks right at the Hohenzollern Castle, which is so beautiful!! Everything in the rooms worked, breakfast was delicious and abundant, you will not leave hungry for sure. Staff is so nice and friendly, we definitely come back for another short trip. They have a restaurant as well that Has a wonderful menu."

Holiday Inn Express Friedrichshafen, an IHG Hotel

Great hotel

"We checked in very late and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious, no fridge but they did have an ice machine. No real aircon to speak of so would probably be hot in the summer. Breakfast was great and parking was 10-15 euros. Hotel isn’t close to anything but great for what we needed. Very happy with our stay. "

"Such a beautiful hotel with lovely reception staff. We booked a junior suite which had a great view of the gardens and lake. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice. Comfortable large bed. Great food in the restaurant in the evening. Very close to the ferry and lots of restaurants. 10 minute walk to the train station. Lots of options for walks along the lake to other towns and can get the bus or train back. Would definitely recommend staying in Uberlingen and this lovely hotel. "
