Provided by some local company, help only in german language and QR codes for one-time charging did not work. The staff were generally unable to converse in English and thus I had to use my broken German to try to get by - this resulted in my interactions with all but one person (a waitress at breakfast) being terse and cold - which is not/not typical for Austrians. "The hotel is advertised as having AC, this was a key element in my decision to book this hotel. Apparently they turn it off when it gets cold, according to them and other guests should just open the windows. We were promised that the hotel manager would contact us as we complained about it. That was on Saturday and we checked out on Monday. I have yet to hear back from her or anyone in the property. The receptionist offered us another room where they opened the windows. "We stayed at Gasthof Knappenwirt during the Austrian Grand Prix. The hotel is in an idyllic rural setting, with shops just a short drive away. The Lohr family were wonderfully welcoming and considerate hosts. We were in Landhaus Winkelbauer, a newly renovated house on site, and ate breakfast at the hotel each morning. The was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Would highly recommend for a group or family. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay!"
