"Perfect location in easy walking distance to the White House, great restaurants, and two Metro stations - one with a direct line to Reagan International Airport. Although it is one of Washington's older hotels (it was originally the Statler Hotel and was finished during World War II), it has modern conveniences while retaining some of the interior architectural charm. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning in the North Gate Grill."

"Check in was quick. The room was great having been recently renovated. The hotel is in the center of DC with access to the metro from inside the hotel. Lots of great restaurants and sightseeing to do by walking. Will definitely stay here again!"

"This hotel is in walking distance of the wharf for dinner choices and the National Mall for checking out the sites. They also have complementary cruiser bikes which we used every day."
