"We bought the location. But of course hoped for a nice hotel too. The pictures weren’t bad. In reality it’s dull, tight, incommodious, and we had a broken piece of furniture. Very clean though, with a nice coffee smell (but no way to have a coffee unless you go out or did not forget to fill in and submit a breakfast form last night, given that the nearest cafes are closed till noon). Next time in Oybin, we will choose a different place, sorry"

"Pension Teichblick was everything we could have hoped for and more. In general we felt we paid well over the odds in most places as we travelled across Germany. But Pension Teichblick was far and away the exception. And don't think that means low quality, it doesn't. We were totally satisfied with the accomodation Pension Teichblick offered. We had a perfectly good room for two costing us only 32 Euros (!!!) Not each, for the room (!) quite rare as we found elsewhere on our journey. We would...

"The castle and its park are beautiful and the property is extremely quiet. We enjoyed the great breakfast buffet. Not so good was the restaurant (we ordered a package with a three course dinner). The waiter was not well trained, the menu card showed a different dessert than we were served. The food itself was ok. "

"Lovely apartment in rural Germany with excellent hosts. The only downside for this well equipped apartment was the bedroom was upstairs accessed by not much more than a ladder - a little tricky for us older folk. Service and support by the hosts was brilliant."
