Why House is a wonderful place to stay in Sri Lanka. It's a beautiful oasis of calm - with a very warm welcome from Henrietta and all the staff and a beautiful setting. Our room was fantastic, perfect for our family with its upstairs area for the kids and beautiful mast bedroom and bathroom. The pool is a fantastic place to relax and swim - and when they switch on the lights at night it's truly magical. We had great food and they staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful in helping us with trips to Galle or our airport transfers (even packing us a breakfast for our early departure). Thank you to everyone for a wonderful end of holiday. We hope to see you again soon.

Wonderful stay

The room was perfect and the swimming pool divine that are free to talk to take it down to the beach and you can use the house tuktuk to take you to Galle for $15. We stayed in room eight part of you and Honestly it couldnt have been better. Henrietta and her team of staff are so warm and welcoming. (Oh and get a very reasonably priced delicious massage!!)

The grounds are beautiful and it is located really well for Galle and the beach. Henrietta was a marvellous host and we really enjoyed her company and the cookery demonstration that she organised. A fabulous place very much recommended.

Absolutely LOVED staying here. It’s such a beautiful house, rooms are gorgeous, gardens and pool are just lovely and the staff are delightful. Literally nothing not to love here.
