5 stars are not enough for this wonderful place. A special thank you to Chathuri and her team for the making us feel so welcome and at home. The property itself is beautiful - a colonial style villa set in lush tropical gardens, with a pool that wraps around the building, but it’s the people who work there that made it one of the most memorable stays ever. The team facilitated lunches, dinners and even a special lunch for visiting family. They always had a smile and a greeting for our 2 year old daughter, bringing her toys to play with and even treats to eat. The villa itself feels like you’re in a grand home. there are toys and games and books to read, so many pretty areas to relax, hi tub and spa…. there also a private beach across the road and lots of attractions like Galle, unawatuna beach, lakes and Wijaya beach where the turtles swim close enough to say hello are a quick tuk tuk ride away. It was the most memorable stay we have ever had. We loved everything and can’t wait to come back!

Like a sprawling colonial home. So many places to relax and take in the unique ambience. Loved the pool with lounge chairs in it.

Top qualty boutique hotel with great staff. Great food especially the breakfast and you must have the Sri Lankan ommelate. Stayed in the Grand Suite which it was. it's a place that you don't want to leave and we absolutely loved Stewie the 'guard' dog.

Relaxing - A home from home
Posted 2 Jan 2019 on HotelsWe had a wonderful stay here as part of our honeymoon. The staff were very attentive and put on a wonderful, 5 course meal for Christmas day. The hotel grounds are very relaxing and the rooms are spotlessly clean. They will help to arrange any excursions you wish to take and help to make sure you have a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Sergeant House Paradise
Posted 9 Nov 2018 on HotelsStayed 6 nights in October 2018 in poolside pavilion, wonderful accommodation, very comfortable and quiet, wish I had stayed longer. Access to eastern end of Unawatuna beach less than 20m across the road. Staff were excellent, polite and attentive without being overbearing. Would stay here again without any hesitation if I ever return to Sri Lanka.

Perfect!
Posted 1 Oct 2018 on HotelsHands down our favorite hotel in Sri Lanka! The staffs were always helpful. Everything was arranged down to detail - even the way they serve the food was prefect (we loved the food btw). Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Hotel

Pros: Relaxing, peaceful and good location.
Location: Galle Fort, Beach, Sea Turtle Hatchery
My family and I stayed here for 2 nights and they loved this hotel. Short 5 min walk to Ahungalla Beach. ~ 15 min tuk tuk ride to Galle Fort. ~ 10 min tuk tuk ride to a sea turtle hatchery. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and my kids (age 10, 9, 7 and 5) loved the pool and watching the monkeys jump by through the trees overhead. The food was great and the staff was super helpful and friendly.
