Definitely not recommended for people with disabilities. The host was unhelpful and patronising. I would not recommend staying there. Things would have been better if the gentleman were polite and professional. First bad experience in Colesberg ever! Being a seasoned traveler, this was the first time that I was treated like an inconvenience. Very disappointed.

We had a very pleasant stay here, the room was perfect, well presented and comfortable. Secure parking on site and choice of restaurants within 3 min walk. The hosts were great, definitely would stay again and recommend the Barracks to friend's

A very nice guest house in a property and town with interesting history. The hosts, Mike and Annelie, made us feel welcome and cooked us a fantastic dinner (at extra cost) served in our room. Not a fancy or elegant place, but excellent value overall.
