"The opportunity to stay in a villa surrounded by tea fields was too hard to miss out on. We arrived from Badula on the train and were welcomed by the staff at the house. "This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. "The hotel is just out of the hussle and bustle of Kandy city - about a 15min Tuktuk ride. Perfect to see all the sights in and around Kandy and then come back and relax in peace and quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the owner arranged trips and drivers in and around the Kandy area. The food is was amazing particularly Hassida's vegetable curry! "

Serene spot in Kandy

"The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. The pool area is good with separate pool for toddlers. This also overlooks the river. The staff were excellent. All polite and helpful which you find a lot in Sri Lanka. The restaurant was buffet style and food good quality. We had an excellent 2 nights in Kandy. Hotel situated short distance from Town centre, uphill. Just a short ride in tuk tuk."
