Nice hotel but be better to the dogs.
Posted 21 Dec 2017 on HotelsEnjoyed the atmosphere of the place and the rooms were very good. My partner was very disappointed though as she love animals and she saw a couple of the staff be cruel to the few dos there by spraying fly spray in their face. That did upset her.

Posted 20 May 2017 on OrbitzThese folks need some training in customer service. From check-in to check-out, weird interaction, including refusing to give our driver a glass of water. It's a shame because the place and rooms are so well done.

Nice hotel, dissappointing check-in
Posted 3 Jan 2022 on HotelsThe hotel itself is very nice - quiet location, lovely pool and reasonably close to the Udewalawa National Park.
That is all, however, somewhat overshadowed by the fact that check-in took more than an hour - the manager claimed that no reservation was made and no payment received only to then blame hotels.com once I raised my voice sufficiently for him to find my reservation. Not an ideal experience in a rather remote location at 21.00.
Other than that, a perfectly agreeable stay.

Great value according to the price!
Posted 24 Apr 2017 on HotelsNice room and location. Good value for the price. Kind and helpful staff. Check in took lf 10 minutes but afterall we came before 12 (check in time) but all was great.
