Was not happy with our stay unfortunately. Staff were lovely!! But we booked the private villa with private pool and we arrived, our pool was green. We couldn’t swim which was the whole point we booked this room and it was almost $300.00 per night which was steep when we couldn’t swim in it, we asked them about it and they said it was fine but the bottom of the pool was green and you couldn’t see the floor or steps! The last day of our stay it was clear 😭 we noticed someone came and did something with the pump and the next day, our last day it was fine but we still couldn’t swim because we had to check out. Quite frustrating. Breakfast was very mediocre, has to send two breakfasts back because the eggs were cold and it took them half an hour to get them out to us in the first place. Spa is okay but not air conditioned and quite expensive for what it is. The surrounds and feel of this place was nice, very tropical and pretty, but unfortunately our stay was very disappointing. We also had lots of ants in our room, the water pressure was horrible and the water was cold every time. It also seemed like they weren’t ready for us with no towels in one of the rooms and no cups etc. room service was lovely and cheap, best thing about this place. Once again, staff were also lovely, just a disappointing stay. Not that close to anything either.

Hello. Jemma. Good afternoon. Our private villa pool is maintained daily by our highly profesional team. After we got your complain that day, we was checked it immediately and sorry to say, it was not green as you described. Since you say, our staff come and fix it and looks clear on the next day, If it's really green, it's can't be fix by one day, it will take a week to fix it. Secondly, our breakfast is buffet breakfast, and if our guests have any requests, we do for the guest immediately. Our spa is near to nature, more natural, not in a room with air conditioning, because we want to provide the best spa experience in a natural beautiful environment to our guests. Since we do pest control every week by one of the best pest control company in Bali, We are confused about your lots of ants complains. We hope you will contact us and we can discuss more about this. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. Any issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently. They were so quick to book taxis for us when we were unable to get on the shuttle. We were warmly greeted when leaving or arriving to the property. Unfortunately they are let down by the real need for facilities to be upgraded. Also quite out of the way from Ubud so if you want to go into town for the day, it's best to pack for the whole day. Food was average at the resort. My friend tried the breakfast one morning and only managed 2 bites.

Magnificent oasis

Magnificent oasis with super-friendly staff. The place is simply sublime. We were 6 including children. Our private pool was the cherry on the sunday.

Villa was not available and we were moved to another place. The owner was very helpful but at the new place, we were not able to get support and access to equipment to have dinner at the villa and the communication with the hotel did not work. Bad service but beautiful place and surroundings. We also had 2 bottles of champagne for new years disappear and did not hear back from the staff after we left about the issue even though they promised to get back to us.
